New scooter that when you hook up the power wire the running lights come on and stay on with the key off. I have replaced the stator, rectifier, and inspected most of the wires. I am stumped.. Anyone?? Rolling Eyes

Does your scooter have a remote for security setting and unlocking and starting? If so, after you have removed the key click the unlock button once. The lights should go out.

I am still trying to get a complete operation and repair manual written in understandable English. Any ideas where I can order one?

My present mystery is why my thumb start-button will not work. I can only start the bike by using the remote start button. Are there interlocks of some sort that deactivate if the remote button has been used. Can anybody explain the convoluted Chinese mind to me? They are too smart for me!!

First, check to make sure the Kill switch is in the "run" position. That's the loop without the X across it.

Next, make sure the key is in the "on" position.

Squeeze one of the brakes, and push the starter button. The engine should start.

If you think the remote starter is interfering with things, push the unkock button until the bike "chirps". Then do it again.

Two unlock "chirps" disconnects the remote starter/alarm as much as it can be without pulling the fuse. The scooter should operate normally after that.
