I have a 75 Kawasaki F11 250, so when i am riding i can get through 1st and 2nd, sometimes 3rd, (very rarely 4th or 5th), but when i shift up to 4th it jumps out of gear and goes to neutral, i keep clicking up and it won't pop into a gear until i downshift to 2nd or sometimes 3rd gear. i put the right amount of 10w-40 in, thats what the manual recommended. i also just had the clutch cable fixed and they went through the clutch assembly as well. Should i put different oil in? any suggestions would help. thanks

Just my 2 cents....
I don't think your oil weight or quantity is your problem, I'd guess you have a bad gear or possibly a bad shift fork.... something wrong in the tranny....??

Doesn't sound like a problem with the oil.... Sounds more like a problem w/ the tranny.... Bad gear and/or fork??
